Second-largest crowd no sign of off year for poker's main event (USA Today)
Looking back on the World Series of Poker's Main Event, poker pro and TV analyst Phil Gordon said this year's 6,358 entrants was "an amazing feat," given government regulations imposed last October. That was down from the record 8,773 last year, but it was the second-highest total in the event's 38-year history.
